During a press briefing, Selamawit Kassa, the Minister of State for Government Communication Service, provided details about Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed’s recent participation in the Summit for A New Global Financing Pact in Paris.
The State Minister explained that Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed addressed the summit participants and highlighted Ethiopia’s proactive measures in green development to combat the adverse effects of climate change. He emphasized the importance of international financial institutions extending their support to enhance the effectiveness of these efforts.
Selamawit Kassa also mentioned that Ethiopians have successfully planted over 25 billion tree seedlings over the past four years, making a significant contribution to global climate change mitigation initiatives.
