Man can do some pretty amazing things when he hears the call of the wild, like climb mountains, catch huge waves of the Great Barrier Reef, and survive off the land.
There is a distinction between appreciating nature and keeping wild animals as pets, though. With good cause, the United States has prohibited the commercial importation of endangered animals since the early 1970s.
