Peacock Park, right here in the heart of Bole, is the subject of a tourist eye show on EBS. Central Park is the official name for Peacock Park. It is located near the Bole sub-city, which is Addis Ababa’s contemporary and residential area. People enjoy going for a walk and resting at this park, which has several soothing facilities. Because the park is so popular for wedding ceremonies, you may see them there. There are several intriguing native florae as well.
The zoo will relocate from its current 1.2-hectare Sidist Kilo location in Arada to the considerably bigger 26-hectare site, which was developed in conjunction with German architect Nikolaus Knebel and will be built in four phases, after the city-funded building of the new facility.
The ancient park, which many tourists describe as sad, had housed 10 lion species, including the rare Leopantels Abyssinica, which is only found in Ethiopia. Authorities believe the lions’ poor mating rate is due to the crowded environment, but they anticipate this to change in their new settings.
