The couple, previously believed to have a short-lived marriage in the UK, recently celebrated their 81st wedding anniversary.
Ron and Joyce Bond, residents of Milton Keynes, a town located 80 miles (about 80 km) from London in the United Kingdom, commemorated their remarkable 81 years of marriage. Their daughter recalled how many had predicted their marriage would be brief, but to everyone’s surprise, their love endured and only grew stronger over time. They have defied the odds and remain together.
Both Ron and Joyce Bond, now aged 102 and 100 respectively, currently reside in a retirement village in Milton Keynes, where they have enjoyed a long and enduring marriage that is truly a testament to their enduring love in the United Kingdom.
