The Industrial Parks Development Corporation and the Ethiopian Embassy put on a symposium in Chennai, India, to try to get more foreign direct investment.
At the forum in Chennai, more than 60 investors and manufacturers working in the pharmaceutical, textile, and garment industries, among others, took part.
During the investment forum, a lot was said about the different ways to invest in Ethiopia and how the industrial parks are good places to do so.
Also explained were the industrial parks’ infrastructure, incentives for investing, and advantages.
The investors said they were interested in investing in Ethiopia’s pharmaceutical, textile, and clothing industries. They also said that the country has a huge amount of untapped investment potential in many different fields.
According to information we got from the company, investors who wanted to make short-term investments also talked to people outside of the forum.
